Membership of our Society comes with free subscription to the Society’s quarterly journal German History, including online access to the full thirty-five year run of the journal so far. German History is a leading academic forum for the cultural, political and social history of the German-speaking world, published by Oxford University Press. It encompasses research articles, discussion forums, and reflections by established and emerging experts on recent issues and historiographical developments.
Members of the German History Society also receive a 20% discount on all European History titles published by Oxford University Press.
Members are also entitled to free attendance at the Society’s annual conference. Our conference is held at a different university in the UK or Ireland each year and brings together internationally renowned experts to share cutting-edge research on German history.
