Participants are invited for a one-day workshop on Medieval Germany to be held on 6 May at the German Historical Institute in Bloomsbury. Proposals of papers up to 10-15 minutes are welcomed, papers presenting work in progress particularly welcome. Chronology and geography generously defined. The workshop will maintain the traditions of friendliness and informality familiar from previous years. Invited guest papers by Prof. Eva Schlotheuber (Düsseldorf) and Prof. Wolfram Drews (Münster). Attendance is free.
Please send proposals for papers to Dr Marcus Meer at GHIL ([email protected]). The deadline for proposals has been extended to 31 January. North American (US and Canada) doctoral candidates can apply for travel bursaries from the GHI Washington: postgraduate researchers based in the UK and Ireland who are GHS members can also seek financial support to attend.
